Pre-Trial Working Parties

Trial Locations:

There are 2 trial locations (by kind permission of Mr D Pritchett) - see fixture list further down this page for location of each trial.

Location 1: Upper Colgate Farm, Ham Road, Whittington, Cheltenham, Glos. GL54 4EZ

Location 2: Dowdeswell which is situated about 1 mile as the crow flies and on the opposite side of the valley (and the A40) from Upper Colgate Farm. The new site is situated in woodland that runs alongside the A40 between Charlton Kings and Andoversford GLOS and will be signposted from the A40.

VENUE FOR EACH TRIAL WILL BE ANNOUNCED ON THIS SITE AND OUR FACEBOOK PAGE WELL IN ADVANCE OF EACH TRIAL WHEN CONFIRMED WITH LANDOWNER

ALL RIDERS PLEASE NOTE.

THE TURNING INTO THE LANE OFF THE A40 AND LEADING THE SHORT DISTANCE TO THE VENUE IS SITUATED ON A VERY FAST SECTION OF THE A40 AND RIDERS SHOULD TAKE EVERY CARE WHEN NEGOTIATING THE JUNCTION WITH LONG AND CLEAR SIGNALS TO AVOID BEING RAMMED FROM BEHIND.

RIDERS APPROACHING FROM THE DIRECTION OF CHELTENHAM MAY BE ADVISED TO OVERSHOOT THE RIGHT TURN TO THE VENUE AND DRIVE THE SHORT DISTANCE TO THE WHITTINGTON VILLAGE TURNING ON THE LEFT AND TURNING IN THE JUNCTION, APPROACH THE NEW VENUE FROM THE ANDOVERSFORD DIRECTION.

IN ANY EVENT A LONG AND CLEAR INDICATOR SIGNAL WOULD BE ADVISABLE.
